Job summary

Impact Advisors is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Director to lead end-to-end revenue cycle operations for a medical group, including patient access, charge capture, coding, claims submission, and denial management.

The role requires strong leadership across multiple sites, with a focus on accurate financial performance, payer relationships, and patient financial experience. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of revenue cycle leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of professional billing, coding workflows, payer reimbursement, and AR management.
• Experience with EHR, practice management, clearinghouses, and revenue cycle systems.
• Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive results across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead all revenue cycle functions across the medical group, including registration, billing, collections, denials, and patient financial services.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days in A/R.
• Establish KPIs and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Partner with clinicians, finance, compliance, and IT to address revenue leakage.
• Oversee system optimization, automation initiatives, and new tool implementations.
