Job summary

Mars United Commerce in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Director, Retail Consultancy to own the core client retail business, lead strategy and performance, and manage Marilyn integration with cross-functional teams.

You will develop annual plans, drive flawless execution, expand opportunities with retailers, and strengthen relationships with clients, retailers, and internal partners to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of marketing, ecommerce, media or advertising experience with grocery retailers.
• Dynamic personality able to engage and influence a variety of audiences.
• Strong industry knowledge of CPG, retailers, trends and business philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the retailer client.
• Collaborate with clients and retailer to ensure strategic alignment of plans and programs.
• Act as a change agent to improve client and agency performance.
• Identify growth opportunities within the retailer or class of trade.
• Own the retail media relationship and drive plans to achieve objectives.
• Manage retailer relationships including shopper marketers and Marilyn insights teams.
• Lead mid-campaign optimizations and final recap recommendations.
• Support programmatic/DSP and DDM activation and testing.
• Develop annual business plans and guide cross-functional teams toward growth.
