Job summary

Pressed Cafe is seeking a Director of Construction & Development to lead the execution of our growing development pipeline, including new restaurants, renovations, retail projects, and mixed-use developments. The role covers feasibility, budgeting, design, permitting, construction, and closeout with hands-on site leadership and daily coordination with architects, engineers, and trade partners.

This is an in-person role requiring regular presence at active construction sites and the Nashua, NH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
• 5-7+ years of progressive construction or owner’s PM experience.
• Extensive retail/restaurant construction experience preferred.
• Experience managing construction managers and design teams.
• Budgets built in collaboration with finance teams; strong cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pipeline of new builds and renovations and monitor active projects.
• Lead contractor procurement, bid leveling, and scope reviews.
• Act as owner's representative during design phases and ensure brand standards.
• Develop project budgets with CFO and finance, including cost modeling.
• Manage field leadership, site visits, and on-site problem solving.
• Oversee FF&E coordination and turnover process.
