Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in construction of commercial spaces (restaurant or retail).
• Thorough knowledge of construction concepts and strategies.
• Broad business perspective and understanding of construction economics.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, planning, communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Site Design Review.
• Property Due Diligence.
• Work with local and state planning committees.
• Project management for multiple locations.
• Achieve budget costs for self-developed projects.
• Prepare and negotiate cost estimates and timelines.
• Select construction methods and strategies.
• Report on progress and budget matters.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists.
• Instruct and supervise construction personnel, vendors and consultants.
• Comply with legal requirements and safety codes.
• Schedule critical site visits for current and upcoming projects.
• Review plans prior to bid and construction for errors or updates.
• Perform detailed take-offs of material estimates.
