Job summary

Meet Life Sciences in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Senior Director of Project Management – Research to drive cross-functional drug development programs from early discovery through IND submission. You will lead Research, Preclinical, CMC, Regulatory, and Clinical teams, set program strategy, timelines and milestones, and partner with senior leaders to resolve issues and maintain momentum.

Qualifications

Proven experience driving multiple INDs through submission.
PhD preferred; advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline highly desirable.
Prior leadership or people management experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of preclinical research and cross-functional drug development.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional project teams across Research and early-stage drug development.
Drive program strategy, timelines, milestones, and execution through IND submission.
Partner closely with senior leadership and functional heads to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain program momentum.
Establish project management processes and frameworks within a growing organization.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project management team members.
