Job summary

Los Angeles Metro is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the management team and coordinate large-scale rail and bus facility projects. You will focus on schedules, budgets, safety, and quality while guiding staff and coordinating with other Metro divisions.

Ideal candidates bring at least five years of senior construction management experience, with strong negotiation, reporting, and leadership skills to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of management-level experience in major construction, engineering, or architectural contracts.
• California driver license required; CCM certification preferred; CA PE or Architect license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management team and coordinate major rail and bus facilities construction projects.
• Develop work plans, schedules, cost estimates, and specifications for projects.
• Administer and monitor compliance with schedule, budget, technical, safety, and legal requirements.
