Job summary

Consertus is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support Los Angeles Metro with project scheduling and controls services for major transportation infrastructure work. This heavy civil assignment involves civil construction, utilities, roadway improvements, and pavement activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 10 years of scheduling experience, with advanced Primavera P6 skills and cost/resource loading expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project scheduling experience in heavy civil/transportation projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency (Version 12.0+).
• Experience with cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update CPM schedules using Primavera P6 for major projects.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, and stakeholders.
• Create time-phased forecasts, manpower projections, and cash flow curves.
• Perform schedule updates, analyze variances, and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare schedule narratives, progress reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
