The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Start Up and Execution to oversee the Purchasing Department, guide facility expansions and start-ups, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

You will lead a team, coordinate with field, regional, and corporate stakeholders, and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with corporate objectives. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Business (Master’s preferred), extensive purchasing leadership experience, and strong negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation experience.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Solid financial acumen and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing activities, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage facility expansions and start-up projects in line with corporate goals.
• Develop and enforce purchasing policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead and develop Purchasing staff, set priorities, and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with IS, accounting, fixed assets, A/P, and operations on daily items.
