Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a senior leader to identify, build, and implement business strategies that support provider networks and product development. The role focuses on strategic payment innovation and value-based contracting across all Centene products, with a broad vision and execution plan.

The position is 100% remote within the United States, with up to 10% travel. Requires a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 10+ years in managed care; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business/healthcare administration or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in managed care for a health plan, delegated provider organization, or MSO.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Strategic Payment Innovation/Value-Based Payment (VBP) Roadmap and initiatives.
• Drive adoption of VBP programs and lead negotiation support.
• Oversee administration and reporting of all VBP programs.
• Direct and supervise staff in Strategic Provider Partnership Initiatives.
• Develop cross-functional plans to achieve strategic initiatives and report progress to leadership.
• Track and report status on strategic partnerships, risk adjustment, and network development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Administration, or equivalent fields of study

Master’s in Business Administration (preferred)
