Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic provider engagement across multiple lines of business, overseeing performance, quality, costs, and utilization in support of enterprise goals.

The role requires 8+ years in value-based care or related areas, 5+ years of leadership, and proven ability to guide large-scale initiatives across markets. This is a remote position available anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in value-based care, population health, provider practice administration, provider performance improvement, or healthcare strategy.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams and overseeing supervisors or managers and analyzing performance trends.
• 1+ years proven experience leading large-scale provider engagement initiatives across multiple markets or LOBs.
• 1+ years familiarity with value-based payment models and healthcare quality improvement initiatives; multi-region leadership preferred.
• 1+ years strong leadership, comms, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead market-wide provider engagement strategies that support performance improvement and align with enterprise goals.
• Drive program implementation and timelines across regions or LOBs.
• Monitor quality, cost, and utilization targets and address large-scale performance trends.
• Provide strategic guidance to leaders and teams to foster innovation and results.
• Partner with leadership to align provider strategies with enterprise priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organization in high-level meetings with external stakeholders.
