Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Provider Network Management Director to lead contracting for complex health system agreements and drive value-based initiatives. The role focuses on negotiation, relationship building, and strategic network development across multiple sites with hybrid in-office expectations.

The candidate should have extensive contracting experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage large-scale negotiations.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in contracting (value based, shared savings and ACO development), provider relations, provider servicing; experience must include prior contracting experience.
• Experience negotiating with large health systems and managing complex contracts preferred.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills for complex, non-standard contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead associate resources, special projects, or network planning.
• Serve as SME for local contracting efforts in complex negotiations.
• Lead large-scale, multi-faceted negotiations for the business unit.
• Represent the unit on enterprise initiatives around network management.
• Collaborate with the sales team in presenting to employer groups.
• Serve as a communication link between providers and Elevance Health.
• Prepare financial projections and conduct analyses.
• Travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
