Job summary

Gateway Development Commission (GDC) seeks a Principal Deputy Chief in the Programs Department to ensure the operational success of all program areas, including planning, grants administration, federal compliance, real estate, and contract management for the Hudson Tunnel Project.

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder coordination, and a track record of delivering complex infrastructure programs on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Ten years of experience supporting complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent the CPO and delegate decisions in its absence.
• Advise Delivery Partner Contract Management team and coordinate with leadership.
• Collaborate with Executive Management on cross-functional interfaces.
• Work with departments and project partners on Hudson Tunnel project governance.
• Develop operational plan for Programs Department with goals and metrics.
• Oversee resource planning and allocation for the Department.
• Guide department leads and remove obstacles to performance.
• Analyze trends to identify improvements and innovations.
