Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a senior product strategy leader to guide current and future planning across products, platforms, and markets.

You will own the master product roadmap, communicate broadly, and drive value through SBP, PPP, and Six Sigma initiatives while aligning with customer needs and competitive positioning. The role emphasizes leadership in market-driven planning, financial interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize portfolio profitability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business or Strategy Management, or related field.
• 4 years of experience as a Product Manager, Electronic or Systems Engineer or Technical Specialist, or related.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Strategy Management with 6 years of experience.
• Experience with HCD, SBP, PPP, DMAIC/DFSS, and developing customer-led product plans.
• Ability to interpret financial indicators and conduct market insights to prioritize opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead current and future product planning across products, platforms, and markets.
• Own the consolidated product road map and communicate across the organization.
• Provide leadership in SBP as owner of the Master Project List (MPL).
• Lead PPP process and drive Six Sigma initiatives (DMAIC & DFSS).
• Develop value propositions and position within the portfolio.
• Apply market and customer needs to differentiate products against competition.
• Establish relationships with business leaders and promote functional excellence.
• Derive market insights and prioritize opportunities to maximize value.
