Job summary

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Director, Product Marketing to build and lead a foundational product marketing function within its marketing organization, reporting to the CMO. This role defines ICPs, positioning and GTM strategy, and translates complex cybersecurity tech into market-ready narratives for multiple audiences.

The role is 100% remote with preference for candidates in the Boston, MA or Greater Austin, TX regions, and will scale the function by hiring within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B cybersecurity.
• Experience leading product marketing and hiring within the first year.
• Technical fluency in cybersecurity with ability to speak credibly to technical audiences.
• Proven ownership of ICP development and core positioning & messaging.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine ICPs and buyer personas across customers including enterprise security teams.
• Own core product positioning and messaging frameworks for VulnCheck's data assets.
• Lead GTM strategy and launches, translating tech into market narratives and assets.
• Equip sales with battlecards, content, and competitive positioning for multiple segments.
• Represent VulnCheck at industry events and analyst conversations, including major conferences.
• Manage analyst relations end‑to‑end and coordinate briefings.
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence to sharpen positioning.
• Build the product marketing function from IC to a team within 6–12 months.
