We are seeking a Product Security Technical Manager to join a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This remote role will lead application security efforts across engineering teams, focusing on secure coding, cloud security, and vulnerability management.

You will partner closely with developers and product teams, crafting a robust security-first culture. The position also entails incident response, risk management, and mentorship in secure design practices.

For our client, we are seeking a Product Security Technical Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead application security efforts across engineering teams, with a strong focus on secure coding, cloud security, and vulnerability management. You will partner closely with developers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The position also plays a key role in incident response, risk management, and building a security-first culture within the engineering organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $128,000 – $215,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage the application security team and coordinate cross-functional collaboration

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience

• Experience with security scanning tools in CI/CD environments
• Hands-on incident response and investigation experience
• Competency in modern AI tools for security applications
• Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities and secure software design principles
• Excellent communication skills for technical risks and recommendations
• Demonstrated mentorship and influence on teams
