Position Overview

Oversee all strategic aspects of sourcing across global Argon Medical Devices footprint.

What You Will Do

  • Formulate and execute global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, including cost optimization, risk management, and supply chain continuity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance) to support business needs and ensure alignment on procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply disruptions and market volatility.

Skills For Success

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master a plus
  • 12-15 years of related experience to include successfully performing the required job duties, managing staff of direct employees, ERP/MRP systems, and working within cross functional experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team, influence stakeholders, and drive change.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term procurement strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to procurement and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience managing complex projects and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the relevant industry and market dynamics.
  • Responsible for providing direction, people performance and development of staff.
