Job summary
Horizon3 seeks a Senior Director of Engineering for Precision Defense to set the technical direction and build a scalable team across three pillars: Tripwires & Deception, Security Controls Validation, and Blue Team Agents. You will drive strategy, staffing, and delivery of dependable capabilities with product and customer outcomes in mind.

Qualifications
- Experience leading SaaS or cloud service engineering teams delivering complex software products.
- Track record of setting engineering strategy and delivering across multiple teams.
- Strong technical judgment in cloud software and distributed systems.
- Experience with AI- or agent-enabled products in production is valuable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Precision Defense engineering organization.
- Translate the charter into a clear technical strategy and roadmap.
- Build leadership structure with managers, leads, and ICs.
- Establish goals and operating mechanisms for visible progress and risk management.
- Partner with technical leads on architecture and design to evolve the portfolio.
