Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking a Senior Director of Power Generation Asset Management to lead technical asset management for its growing thermal portfolio, starting with Cedar Creek Phase 1 in Bastrop County, TX.

The role owns LTSA governance with turbine OEMs and the BESS service provider, coordinates with the Independent Engineer, and serves as a senior technical voice with the O&M contractor. Travel to site for outages and commissioning is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technical asset management, plant engineering, or reliability engineering for thermal generation.
• Gas turbine performance, availability engineering, and RCM knowledge.
• Experience representing an owner on outages, testing, and warranty administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own LTSA governance with turbine OEMs and BESS service provider; set objectives and enforce obligations.
• Coordinate with Independent Engineer during construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Represent Pacifico on-site during outages, inspections, and provisional tests; engage specialists when needed.
• Govern plant performance, availability, reliability, and continuous-improvement actions across the fleet.
• Oversee CMMS / reliability program with O&M contractor; optimize PMs and spare-parts strategy.
• Support technical reviews of contract amendments, change orders, and warranty disputes.
• Maintain the technical risk register and elevate material issues to leadership.
• Facilitate interface among O&M contractor, LTSA providers, and EPC during transition to operations.
