Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks a Senior Manager of Power Generation Engineering to lead cross-disciplinary teams responsible for design, analysis, and lifecycle management of generation assets. You will guide capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive reliability improvements across thermal, hydroelectric, and renewable facilities.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, safety, and the deployment of advanced monitoring and digital engineering tools to optimize performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Power Engineering or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers (PEs, EITs, specialists) across generation disciplines.
• Provide technical oversight for design, analysis, and lifecycle management of generation assets (gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, transformers).
• Direct capital planning and asset lifecycle programs including major overhauls and reliability upgrades.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NERC, FERC, EPA, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, IEEE; interface with ISOs and reliability coordinators.
• Drive plant availability and capacity factor improvements through data-driven analysis and predictive maintenance.
