Job summary

LongTerm Healthcare is seeking an experienced Vice President of Plant Operations to oversee the physical plant across skilled nursing facilities. You will lead maintenance, environmental services, life safety, and capital improvements while partnering with Administrators and regional leaders to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient buildings.

The role requires hands-on leadership, multi-site oversight, and strong budgeting, vendor management, and regulatory experience to support survey

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or healthcare administration.
• Significant facilities or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience leading multi-site facilities teams.
• Experience managing capital projects and budgets.
• Willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for plant operations across facilities.
• Establish maintenance standards and safety across sites.
• Oversee facility maintenance directors and staff.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate capital projects with minimal resident disruption.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support surveys.
• Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Report to executive leadership on priorities.
