Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services seeks a Vice President of Plant Operations to lead and execute strategic programs for maintenance, facilities, and capital improvements across our 28 New England facilities. You will guide regional directors and Maintenance Directors, drive regulatory compliance, and optimize operational efficiency.

We require 5+ years in Plant Operations within healthcare, strong leadership, and the ability to travel through the New England region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Plant Operations experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Multi-facility and regional leadership experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing facility maintenance, capital projects, renovations, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, Life Safety Code, Joint Commission standards, and OSHA.
• Ability to lead regional and facility-level maintenance teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with executive leadership, facility staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel across New England as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of plant operations, maintenance, and capital improvements across multiple facilities.
• Lead regional directors and maintenance directors.
• Plan and oversee capital projects, renovations, and new construction.
• Serve as liaison with contractors, vendors, and external partners.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient operation of buildings and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with nursing home regulations, Life Safety Code, Joint Commission, OSHA.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Monitor costs, resource utilization, and departmental performance.
• Support leadership to address plant operations concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
