Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a Senior Director of Gift and Estate Planning to lead the Great Lakes Division Planned Giving program, setting strategic direction and fundraising oversight. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, secure, and steward planned gifts and endowment commitments while coordinating with Territorial Planned Giving leadership.

You will oversee the Gift and Estate Planning team, manage a high-capacity donor portfolio, and collaborate across development disciplines to achieve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum seven years of fundraising experience including major gifts, planned giving, estate planning, financial planning or related fields.
Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Demonstrated record of securing major and planned gift commitments.
Experience building and managing fundraising teams.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Great Lakes Division Gift and Estate Planning program.
Develop and implement divisional planned giving goals and fundraising strategies.
Supervise Gift and Estate Planning staff and manage high-capacity donor relationships.
Collaborate with other fundraising teams on integrated donor strategies.
Ensure fundraising ethics and donor stewardship best practices.
