Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; advanced degree preferred.
- Ten to fifteen years of experience in hospital pharmacy management.
- Massachusetts pharmacist license by hire date.
- Academic medical center experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance in development, implementation and supervision of cost-effective pharmaceutical care services.
- Collaborate with executives to ensure enterprise strategy aligns with pharmacy goals.
- Direct the pharmaceutical supply chain and oversee 340B program operations.
- Oversee procurement, distribution and management of pharmaceutical products and services.
- Develop strategies to optimize supply chain processes and improve cost efficiency.
- Lead wholesaler and GPO account management and contract alignment.
