Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD seeks a Senior Director of Pharmacy Programs to provide enterprise-level leadership over Pharmacy Operations, including 340B, formulary stewardship, medication access, and quality and safety initiatives.

The role partners with medical leadership and executive teams to ensure compliant, financially sustainable, patient-centered pharmacy services across Harris County, Texas, with focus on program development, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required. PharmD preferred. Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school required.
• Texas Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Pharmacy Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership for the pharmacy workforce and oversee organizational structure, talent development, and performance management.
• Direct pharmacy strategy and operations across medication management, formulary stewardship, and cost-effective medication utilization.
• Lead Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and related governance processes to ensure safe, effective medication use and fiscal accountability.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, and payer requirements.
