Job summary

REGENXBIO is seeking a Senior Director, Payer Accounts to lead strategic engagement with national and regional payers, PBMs, and IDNs. You will develop, negotiate, and execute market access strategies to secure timely reimbursement and build lasting payer partnerships.

You will collaborate across Market Access, Trade, Commercial Enablement, Marketing, HEOR, and Legal to align access objectives. The role requires 12+ years in biopharma with 5+ years in payer account leadership and a strong track

Qualifications

• 12+ years in biopharmaceutical industry, with 5+ years in payer account roles.
• 3+ years in leadership roles managing payer teams.
• Strong expertise in rare diseases or gene therapies and US payer landscape.
• Proven success in contract negotiation and formulary access.
• Experience with value-based contracting or innovative access solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and oversee national and payer account teams.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for payers, PBMs, IDNs.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned payer accounts.
• Establish relationships with payer stakeholders.
• Lead contract strategy and negotiations.
• Analyze payer policies and trends to identify opportunities.
• Monitor contract performance and provide insights.
• Translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support patient access.
• Support development of payer materials and educational tools.
