Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Irvine is seeking a Senior Director, Program Management for Patient Activation. The role partners with THV leadership to shape strategy, establish a robust operating model, and drive coordinated execution across a matrixed organization.

You will lead an enterprise portfolio of initiatives, translate strategic goals into actionable plans, and oversee governance, risk, and performance across multiple programs to accelerate patient activation and access to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale programs with cross-functional and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to create clarity, structure, and momentum in highly ambiguous environments.
• Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and driving results across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
• Expert understanding of program and portfolio management methodologies, governance, resource planning, and risk management.
• PMP certification and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project portfolio management tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape and operationalize the Patient Activation strategy.
• Lead an enterprise portfolio of programs across THV and Edwards. Connect work across functions to create an enterprise view of priorities, risks, and opportunities.
• Influence and align across the Edwards matrix with executives and leaders to drive alignment and momentum.
• Advance PMO capability and execution excellence through governance, prioritization, and performance management.
• Partner with senior leaders to define priorities, roadmaps, and operating models that advance Patient Activation objectives.
