WPP Media is seeking a Director, Paid Social to lead strategy, governance, and growth across Paid Social for key client campaigns in the US. You will manage a 22-person onshore/offshore team, ensure flawless activation, and maintain executive relationships to drive ROI.

You will champion platform innovation, oversee signoffs on recommendations, and push for new product opportunities while maintaining a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Paid Social media activation.
• 3+ years leading teams of 20+ members (onshore and offshore).
• Deep command of Meta, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.
• Experience with media automation (MAT) and QA frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Direct, mentor, and progress a 22-person onshore/offshore team through onboarding and training.
• Foster inclusive, high-performing culture with growth plans and promotions.
• Provide Director-level signoff on media recommendations and client reports.
• Enforce QA processes and ensure 3-day issue resolution for compliance.
• Build strategic relationships with senior client executives and platform leads.
• Act as senior escalation point for account friction and brand safety.
• Manage staffing, recruitment pipelines, workload balancing for resource utilization.
• Ensure on-time timesheets, scope management, invoicing, and financial procedures.
• Identify new product opportunities and pilot platform feature betas.
• Lead a central agency workstream and publish market trend POVs.
