The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in OR nursing and 3+ years in nursing leadership, plus NC RN licensure and a track record of staff development and quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing management or leadership experience.
- Current North Carolina RN license or eligible multistate compact license.
- Experience with departmental budgeting and financial resource management.
- Experience in staff development, education, and team performance management.
- Experience with quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and perioperative standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee surgical nursing operations and clinical quality.
- Lead budgeting, resource management, and staffing models.
- Drive patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and hospital leadership to optimize operations.
- Mentor nursing leaders and develop high-performing perioperative teams.
