Dolphin Hotel Management is seeking a Director of Safety & Security for Stamford Marriott in Stamford, CT. Salary range is $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.

The role focuses on managing security and loss prevention operations to protect property, guests and staff, while ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards. Responsibilities include emergency planning, incident investigations, staff deployment, and maintaining logs and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years’ experience in guard/security or related field.
• 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or related major; 3 years’ security/loss prevention management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage security/loss prevention operations daily, protecting assets, employees and guests.
• Develop and implement emergency procedures.
• Investigate losses and coordinate with management for disposition.
• Deploy security staff to monitor and protect property assets.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott and Dolphin Hotel Management guidelines and SOPs.
• Conduct periodic patrols of property and parking areas.
• Maintain required reports and documentation regarding patrols and incidents.
• Provide timely medical attention when needed.
