ProCaps Laboratories seeks a Director of Research & Science to lead the company’s scientific strategy across nutraceutical products, new ingredients, and portfolio improvements. You will evaluate safety, efficacy, labeling, and claims to ensure decisions are grounded in credible science.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant industry experience or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years; PhD with 5+ years preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience directing a research/science-content function.
• Experience leading scientists, analysts, technical writers, or other professionals.
• Ability to conduct literature reviews, evaluate research, and translate findings into product development and substantiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific strategy for dietary supplements and related product concepts.
• Direct literature reviews, evidence grading, safety assessments, and claim substantiation packages.
• Provide scientific input to product development, procurement, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Maintain audit-ready scientific files, literature libraries, and substantiation records.
