Job summary

Northern Light Health is seeking a Director of Philanthropy to lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy across Northern Light Acadia Hospital and Home Care & Hospice. You will work with executives, clinicians and volunteers to secure major gifts and advance system priorities.

Success requires a proven track record in principal and major gift fundraising, strong leadership, and the ability to build trusted relationships with donors and community leaders statewide.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proven record securing major and principal gifts.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work weekends/evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead philanthropy strategy for Acadia Hospital and Home Care & Hospice in alignment with NLH priorities.
• Manage and mentor philanthropy team to achieve fundraising goals.
• Develop annual and multi-year fundraising plans with clear metrics.
• Oversee a portfolio of principal, major, and planned gifts for transformational support.
• Collaborate with executives, clinicians and volunteers to advance donor relations.
