Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Operations to lead our manufacturing operations in Vernon, CA. This on-site, permanent role oversees production, drives operational excellence, and leads a team of professionals to deliver high-quality foods at scale.

The ideal candidate has a track record of optimizing processes, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance in food manufacturing. MBA is preferred, with at least five years in senior operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operations role within manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management and cost control.
• Experience with operational management software and tools.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all manufacturing facilities, meeting production goals cost-effectively.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage operations professionals, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align on company-wide goals.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures to optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Work with QA to ensure high-quality production.
• Provide regular reports to the executive team on performance and opportunities.
