The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for providing operational leadership and support to the functions contained within APG. The position coordinates and integrates services internally and externally, develops and organizes project plans. It will streamline and standardize operations across the APG network; manage the referral management system to and within primary and specialty areas and scorecard reporting. The Senior Director of Operations facilitates collaboration with external personnel for the purpose of planning and implementing/maintaining services and programs. The Senior Director of Operations provides administrative supervision and encourages staff development for Occupational Medicine services. The position is responsible for the coordination of performance improvement activities and for fiscal performance including budgetary planning and staffing of designated projects and/or areas. It will participate in short and long-term planning for ambulatory services and projects including coordinating growth initiatives, new site development, and construction.

This position also requires flexibility of work hours. Occasional walking and standing may have prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of computer terminal/fax machine/copier/telephone. Travel to sites throughout AtlantiCare Health System, occasionally required, including the current five counties with active centers.
