ECU Health is seeking a Director of Patient Care Services to oversee overall nursing care across ECU Health facilities. The role provides leadership, drives quality, and partners with medical staff and executives to align practice with strategic goals.

The position emphasizes patient safety, outcomes, and evidence-based improvement, requiring NC nursing licensure, BSN, and readiness to pursue a master's degree within four years. The role reports to Operations leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Willingness to obtain master's degree within four years of employment.
• Experience leading clinical quality and safety initiatives using data to drive outcomes.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements and maintaining survey readiness.
• Experience with workforce planning, staffing optimization, recruitment, retention and deployment of clinical resources.
• Proven ability to lead patient experience and team engagement to build an accountable culture.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and coordinate all nursing care across ECU Health facilities.
• Provide leadership and direction aligned with ECU Health's mission and strategic plan.
• Partner with Medical Staff and executive leadership to oversee practice and operations.
• Ensure patient safety, quality care and maximal patient outcomes.
• Promote professional development and continuous quality improvement through evidence-based practice and research.
• Lead organized nursing services including Emergency, Surgical, Medical/Surgical, and Outpatient clinics.
