Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or higher required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0–2 years experience required.
• Current NC RN license or licensure in a Compact state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and evaluates the health care team's function.
• Delegates tasks as appropriate under NC Nurse Practice Act.
• Ensures safe care through safety habits and daily safety huddle.
• Obtains and interprets initial and ongoing patient/family assessment data.
• Formulates and implements a care plan with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary team to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implements interventions and documents patient progress.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and updates the plan as needed.
