Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop a technology roadmap that prioritizes commercial impact, operational needs, risk, and return on investment.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to improve practitioner/customer experiences, digital commerce, and actionable reporting.
- Oversee SAP ERP, Shopify, Power BI, and Perplexity, including integration, optimization, governance, and adoption.
- Improve information flow across sales, order management, inventory, procurement, finance, fulfillment, and customer service.
- Support co-manufacturing relationships through systems integration, data exchange, inventory visibility, production reporting, and traceability.
- Assess IT talent, organizational structure, systems, vendors, and resources within the first 90 days; establish a prioritized improvement plan.
- Lead implementations, migrations, integrations, automation, and process improvements with measurable outcomes.
- Manage MSPs, consultants, software vendors, and implementation partners; negotiate contracts and monitor SLAs, cost, and delivery.
- Maintain technical support, system availability, infrastructure performance, and timely resolution of critical issues.
- Own cybersecurity, IAM, access controls, SSO/MFA, endpoint protection, incident response, and data protection.
- Oversee networking, cloud infrastructure, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Establish data ownership, quality standards, consistent reporting definitions, and appropriate access.
- Manage operating and capital budgets, procurement, licensing, and resource allocation.
- Coach the IT team, establish accountability, and determine the appropriate balance of internal and external capabilities.
- Evaluate AI and automation tools and establish security, data handling, and usage standards.
- Communicate priorities, risks, spending, and results to executives through business recommendations and performance metrics.
Qualifications Needed
- Extensive experience working directly in a manufacturing plant is required. We’re seeking someone who understands production equipment, plant operations, and the demands of keeping manufacturing running safely and reliably.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive technology experience, including five-plus years of Director-level leadership; Senior Directors prioritized.
- Proven ownership of IT strategy, teams, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional transformation.
- Strong SAP ERP and Shopify experience, including connections to finance, inventory, fulfillment, and customer service.
- Experience with Power BI, business intelligence, data integration, and reporting governance.
- Experience supporting co-manufacturing or outsourced manufacturing, including operational data exchange.
- Commercially oriented leadership with demonstrated support for Sales, Marketing, and revenue-related business processes.
- Broad hands-on ability across infrastructure, business applications, technical support, and cybersecurity.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace, cloud application, and SaaS administration experience.
- Experience managing MSPs, consultants, vendor contracts, SLAs, and implementation partners.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with Perplexity and other AI-enabled business tools and responsible enterprise adoption.
- Experience applying larger-company governance within smaller-company cultures.
- Dietary supplements, wellness, consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, or comparable product-based business experience preferred.
- Ability to lead change, prioritize initiatives, and drive system adoption.
- Stable employment history and a collaborative, hands-on leadership approach.
- Ability to work onsite Tuesday–Thursday in the Palm Beach Gardens area.
