Jobot is seeking a Director of Information Technology in West Palm Beach, FL, to lead the organization’s technology strategy and operations. The role blends executive leadership with hands-on implementation in a hybrid work environment, supporting approximately 85 employees.

The ideal candidate will own IT strategy, cybersecurity, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional tech initiatives while partnering with executive leadership to drive growth and resilience.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute the overall IT strategy, technology roadmap, policies, and infrastructure plans


• Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting approximately 85 employees


• Manage networks, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, telecommunications, collaboration tools, and business applications


• Lead cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, endpoint security, vulnerability management, incident response, backup, and disaster recovery


• Establish IT policies, procedures, documentation, technology standards, and business continuity plans


• Manage MSPs, consultants, software vendors, telecommunications providers, and professional services partners


• Negotiate vendor contracts, manage SLAs, monitor vendor performance, and control technology costs


• Oversee implementation, integration, administration, and optimization of SaaS and business applications


• Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and executive leadership on technology initiatives


• Manage employee technology onboarding/offboarding, hardware, applications, permissions, identity management, and security access


• Lead system implementations, migrations, integrations, automation initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and process improvements


• Manage hardware, software, licensing, and technology asset inventories


• Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets


• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools


• Develop KPIs around cybersecurity, system availability, IT support, project delivery, vendors, and technology spending


• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT and systems issues

Qualifications – Needed

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field preferred


• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including IT operations, infrastructure, systems, or technology leadership


• 3+ years of IT leadership or management experience preferred


• Experience supporting a small to mid-sized organization, preferably within a professional services or similarly fast-paced environment


• Proven ability to function as both a strategic IT leader and hands‑on technology professional


• Strong experience managing IT vendors, MSPs, consultants, and professional services providers


• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace


• Strong background in cloud applications, networking, endpoint management, identity and access management, and cybersecurity


• Working knowledge of SSO, MFA, MDM, endpoint protection, firewalls, backup, and disaster recovery


• Experience administering and integrating SaaS applications


• Experience managing IT budgets, software licensing, vendor agreements, renewals, and technology procurement


• Proven ability to lead system implementations, migrations, upgrades, integrations, and cross‑functional technology projects


• Strong knowledge of IT governance, security policies, business continuity, documentation, and disaster recovery
