Sound Transit is seeking an Employee Relations expert to provide strategic ER guidance across represented and non-represented staff. The role involves impartial investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with HR partners, legal, and equity offices to inform decisions and reduce organizational risk.

The position emphasizes developing scalable, inclusive ER processes, coaching leaders, and resolving conflicts using mediation and formal processes as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, public administration or related field.
• Eight years of progressively responsible HR experience in union and non-union environments.
• Experience partnering with employees, leaders, and legal counsel on employee relations matters.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the People & Culture SME on employee relations for represented and non-represented staff.
• Conduct impartial fact-finding, gather data, interview, analyze facts, and prepare findings.
• Advise leaders and HRBPs on coaching, disciplinary actions, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with leaders and Legal to align on recommendations and decisions.
• Develop and deliver inclusive, scalable ER processes, policies, and tools.
• Lead alternative dispute resolution and maintain confidential documentation.
