Job summary

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) seeks a full-time Director of Advancement to lead our fundraising and community engagement efforts in support of CIFC’s Federally Qualified Health Center, Education and Housing initiatives.

The role collaborates with executives, Board members and community partners to develop a comprehensive resource development strategy, secure major gifts, grants and sponsorships, and strengthen donor relationships across CIFC’s programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration, communications, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive fundraising, development, advancement, philanthropy, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Demonstrated success securing major gifts, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donor support.
• Experience with Board development and volunteer engagement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement and community engagement strategy.
• Cultivate diverse funding sources and strengthen donor relationships.
• Lead foundation relations, corporate sponsorships, and major gifts initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and the Board to advance CIFC’s mission.
