Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking a Director of Institutional Advancement to lead fundraising, grant development, and donor relations at the Middlesex campus.

Under the direction of the Campus President, you will identify funding sources, prepare grant requests, and cultivate long-term relationships with donors to support the college's missions. This on-site role requires strong leadership, communication, and fiscal management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with two or more years of related experience.
• Strong fundraising and grant-writing experience.
• Experience with donor relations and grant administration.
• Ability to manage budgets and strategic planning.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop funding sources and cultivate donor relationships.
• Coordinate and prepare grant proposals and grant administration.
• Support campus fundraising and external relations.
• Attend events and participate in committees; may work evenings/weekends as needed.
