Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock is seeking a Senior Director of Construction to lead a $300MM+ mixed-use project in New York City. You will oversee design, entitlement, procurement, and construction, ensuring schedule, cost, and quality meet executive targets.

The role requires deep experience in large-scale urban developments, strong NYC regulatory knowledge, and a track record of executive leadership. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a clear path to project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects (>$300M).
• Proven leadership of full lifecycle delivery within NYC.
• Strong understanding of NYC codes, zoning, and agency approvals.
• Experience managing multiple CMs and design consultants concurrently.
• Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight & Leadership: Lead all phases from entitlement to delivery.
• Design & Development Management: Oversee design consultants to align with budget.
• Preconstruction & Procurement: Develop preconstruction plan and procurement strategy.
• Construction Management: Provide executive direction and monitor field activities.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Develop budget, schedule, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Entitlement & Agency Coordination: Direct NYC agency entitlement and permitting processes.
• Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing project team.
