Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Senior Director of RN Professional Practice & Nursing Research to lead system-wide professional nursing practices, research initiatives, and Magnet/Pathways efforts across Banner hospitals. You will align strategies with executive leadership, develop evidence-based standards, and advance patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible managerial experience, including at least two years in healthcare or large multi-operational environment.
• RN license and/or relevant certifications may be required depending on area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and monitoring of standardized professional nursing practices across the system.
• Oversee governance structures and professional practice data analytics to improve outcomes.
• Build partnerships and coordinate with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage budgets, contracts, and internal controls to ensure compliant operations.
• Champion evidence-based practice and nursing research to advance clinical practice and Magnet/Pathways goals.
