Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Watertown, MA is seeking a strategic leader to own early commercial strategy for assigned programs, build disease/market landscapes, and partner with Clinical Development, Medical, Regulatory, and Leadership to shape target product profiles.

You will lead indication prioritization, build market models, run market research with physicians, payers, and patients, and translate complex data into executive narratives.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS strongly preferred; PhD candidates may qualify with fewer years.
• 6+ years in biopharma strategy, commercial, CI, or market research.
• Boutique life-sciences strategy consulting experience preferred.
• Strong market research, forecasting/epidemiology/scenario modeling experience.
• Excellent written/verbal communication; strong PowerPoint/Excel; AI tools familiarity.
• Highly analytical, organized, proactive; strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own early commercial strategy for assigned programs.
• Develop disease/market landscapes and understand patient journeys.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Medical, Regulatory, and Leadership.
• Lead indication prioritization and market access considerations.
• Build market models, revenue forecasts, and risk-adjusted assessments.
• Design/run primary and secondary market research with physicians, payers, and patients.
