The ASU Foundation for A New American University is seeking a Senior Director of Development, Natural Sciences for The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Tempe. This externally focused professional will cultivate and solicit major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support Natural Sciences initiatives and align with ASU's vision as the New American University.

Reporting to the executive director of development in LAS, you will collaborate with academic leadership,

Responsabilités

• Develop, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive fundraising program for annual, major, and planned gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Responsible for fundraising metrics related to Natural Sciences initiatives, including donor counts, prospect identification, and growth in giving.
• Collaborate with academic unit-based development officers to advance sustaining and major gift strategies for Natural Sciences prospects.
• Work with divisional academic leadership to develop philanthropic concepts for major gift funding.
• Proactively manage a portfolio of major gift ($100k+) prospects regionally and nationally and drive solicitation strategies.
• Track core fundraising metrics: face-to-face visits, donor retention, and gifts closed.
• Travel with leadership to engage major donor prospects as needed.
• Develop and submit written proposals, budgets, and collateral materials for philanthropic investments.
• Operate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with evolving relationships.
• Lead, develop, and oversee assigned development staff; set priorities and provide coaching.
