Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a Director of Doctor Recruitment to lead the nationwide end-to-end doctor recruiting function. You will set the national strategy, standards, and priorities, and translate them into high-quality execution by the Regional Doctor Recruitment Managers.

You will guide the team to recruit top specialists, engage with executives, and ensure alignment with onboarding, mentorship, and engagement initiatives while building a sustainable pipeline across markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including physician, specialist, or executive-level recruiting; healthcare or dental strongly preferred.
• 3+ years directly managing and developing recruiters or recruiting managers, ideally across multiple markets or regions.
• 3+ years experience utilizing iCIMS for applicant tracking and campaign management, social media and job boards for recruitment and sourcing.
• Proven success recruiting hard-to-hire, high-demand professionals at national or multi-region scale.
• Strong executive presence and consultative skills, with the ability to influence clinicians, operators, and senior executives.
• Data-driven mindset with experience building and running structured recruiting processes, metrics, and forecasting.
• High ownership mentality — comfortable setting strategy and driving execution in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
• Travel up to 25% - specific conferences for Endodontists/Periodontists, recruiting events, team and company meetings, other meetings and events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own national recruiting data, dashboards, and forecasting; lead regular recruiting reviews with executive leadership.
• Identify systemic bottlenecks, market challenges, and execution gaps across regions, and drive cross-regional solutions.
• Ensure accurate, consistent pipeline data and reporting across both regions.
• Execute on campaigns and best practices to keep candidates engaged and up to date during time between offer and start date.
• Partner with Marketing to activate residency, military, referral, and experienced-doctor pipelines nationally.
• Coordinate with the Chief Clinical Officer to align recruiting messaging with onboarding, mentorship, and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition on compliant, efficient hiring processes, offers, and transitions to onboarding.
