Job summary

Vitalief is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Research Operations to lead enterprise-level initiatives and build scalable research operations for a multi-location hospital system. You will drive a Cardiovascular pilot, optimize workflows, and oversee staffing, technology deployment, and governance across sites.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in clinical research operations with 3–5 years in leadership, expertise in CTMS (OnCore) and Epic integration, and a strategic, hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in progressive clinical research operations, with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience building multi-location CR operations from scratch across therapeutic areas.
• Strong regulatory, IRB, and billing compliance knowledge.
• Proven ability to design SOPs, dashboards and measurement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable Cardiovascular research pilot across campuses and ambulatory sites.
• Align research strategy with institutional priorities with executive partners.
• Establish enterprise-wide workflows, SOPs, and metrics for operations.
• Strengthen investigator engagement and multi-site research participation.
• Partner with sponsors and CROs to expand site network and efficiency.
