Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing seeks a Power Generation Operations Manager to provide owner-side leadership for a natural-gas-fired generation facility supporting a mission-critical HPC environment.

You will oversee day-to-day operations via an outsourced O&M provider, set operating expectations, and ensure plant performance aligns with uptime requirements. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and effective governance of the O&M partner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of power-generation experience with gas-fired generation.
• Experience governing outsourced power-plant O&M providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner-side authority for power-generation operations and outsourced O&M execution.
• Provide strategic direction, governance, and performance oversight of the third-party O&M provider.
• Establish operating expectations, responsibilities, escalation procedures, and performance standards.
• Review staffing plans, maintenance strategies, outages, and major operating procedures.
• Lead operational reviews with the O&M provider and drive safety culture.
