Reformation in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Director, Merchandising Strategy & Planning to own how we plan, invest in, and scale assortments across channels. You will partner with Merchandising and Buying to translate strategy into actionable financial plans that drive growth and margin.

This role leads a team, shapes category architecture and investment strategy, and steers open-to-buy, receipt placement, and markdown decisions in a fast-changing, test-and-iterate environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning or related roles.
• Proven leadership in managing senior planners.
• Experience partnering with Merchandising and Buying to shape assortment.
• Strong grasp of margin, open-to-buy, and investment planning.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable financial plans.
• Excellent analytical and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning function as a strategic partner.
• Lead a high-performing team of planners across channels.
• Define category architecture and assortment mix by channel.
