Reformation seeks a Director of Product Development to own end-to-end women's apparel development for import and domestic lines. Based on-site in Vernon, CA, you will lead a high-impact team, negotiate costs, manage margins, and collaborate with Design, R&D, Merchandising and Production to move styles from concept to production on time and on budget.

You will guide costing, supplier relationships, BOM/data integrity, and calendar discipline while upholding sustainability commitments and quality

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in apparel product development with people-management experience at manager level or higher.
• Track record of owning costing, margins, and budget management.
• Proven ability to build and retain supplier/vendor relationships and negotiate cost, quality, and capacity.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to production as the calendar owner.
• Maintain fast lane calendar with timelines for domestic and import development.
• Translate design intent into manufacturable products; surface feasibility and timing early.
• Own costing across all scope, drive margin goals through supplier negotiations.
• Develop and manage the department budget and track spend vs. plan.
• Establish strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.
• Lead vendor performance discussions and optimize capacity mix.
• Own deadstock and trim sourcing with sustainability considerations.
• Maintain accurate BOM/data in PLM/PIM across product lifecycle.
• Align development plans with merchandising and planning goals.
• Ensure compliance and quality standards with QA on care, testing, labeling.
• Maintain fit approval schedules and sign-off for in-scope styles.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the product development team and org structure.
• Drive productivity and process improvements with defined metrics.
• Handle special projects beyond the standard calendar as needed.
