Job summary

Bombardier US Aerostructures is seeking a Leader, Material Logistics to oversee material and logistics operations, drive cost efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery across programs. You will manage a team, implement process improvements (Six Sigma), ensure compliance with FAA/TC regs, and work with cross-functional partners to optimize inventory and budgeting performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent management-related experience.
• 7-8 years of experience in material/logistics management with 3 years progressive supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of FAA /TC (Federal Aviation and Transport Canada) regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of inventory management and material logistics key business processes and governances.
• Working knowledge of budgeting principles,
• Planning and organization skills to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements and perform managerial responsibilities, including hiring/firing, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development.
• Analyze and review monthly profit and loss statements to ensure department and organization stay within budget.
• Report cost analysis and status of time-line projects to Director with action plans.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance company bottom line and material logistics standing.
• Lead team to achieve high inventory accuracy to support OTS availability.
• Support Achieving Excellence in BOE.
